Sonu Nigam has donned the music director's hat Anil Sharma's Singh Saab The Great.
Nigam who is known for his melodious voice, has composed the title song sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan along with the lyrics penned by Kumar.
Sources close to the unit says, "It was Anil Sharma's idea that Sonu compose a song once ready it was liked by Sunny Deol too. Both, Anil and Sonu, have known each other for a long time. Anil always knew that Sonu would be talented as a music director and wanted him to compose the title track. Sonu of course was happy that Anil gave him a chance to show his skills."
The source also adds "Sonu felt that Rahat's voice would suit Sunny Deol the best. It has the heavy baritone yet it is melodious and that goes down very well with Sunny's personality. The title track is the highlight of the film and Anil plans to draw Sunny in his best form."
