Sarvojanik Vashi Durga Puja 2012 organized under the auspices of The Bengal Trust celebrates from Friday, 19th October, 2012 till Tuesday, 23rd October 2012. Sarvojanik Vashi Durga Puja is known across the city for its grandeur and cultural values. The core objective of the festival is to create a confluence of traditional and contemporary elements. More than two lakh people attend the 5-day Durga Puja festival, which offers religious programs, Maha-Bhog, scintillating star studded attendees and musical programs and lot of other elements of celebration.
With a replica of the world famous Belur Temple as Devi Mandap, a large traditional Idol, solemn Pushpanjalis, wholesome Bhogs and entertainment programmes by artists as celebrated as superstar Shahrukh Khan (hosted by Neha Dhupia), Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Poornima Shrestha, Somlata Acharya, etc., the endeavour will be to organize the most acclaimed Durga Puja of the country at Vashi, Navi Mumbai along with colossal fte for our attendees. Sonu Nigam
