Muscat: Muscat Festival is all set to open in the capital of Sultanate
of Oman from Jan 27-Feb 24.
It will host a series of events comprising of a fashion show, food festival, a cycle race, and an extreme sailing championship.
Big Bollywood luminaries Shah Rukh Khan, Lara Dutta and Sonu Nigam will be a part of this fest.
Salim Bin Adey Al-Mamari, Director General of Tourism Promotion, Sultanate of Oman, told media persons “While singer Sonu Nigam and actress Lara Dutta will perform at the fest Feb 10, superstar Shah Rukh Khan will have a stage-show there Feb 17.”
Lubaina Sheerazi, India Representative of Sultanate of Oman added “Film tourism is a growing phenomenon worldwide.”
She said further, “We realize the importance and the reach of the Indian film industry and plan to encourage Indian producers and studios to film in Oman.”
