It's not a marriage, it's a carnival" — is how Kolkata's Dhoot family and Hong Kong's Saboo family described the gala wedding that took place at 40 different locations in Kolkata, Aamby Valley and Delhi from November 20 to December 12.
Piyush Dhoot's marriage to Shradha Saboo left nothing more to be desired.
Nearly 150 celebrities from around the country and beyond came in to bless the couple. The invitation card was made of a wooden box comprising separate cards for all the functions along with the main wedding card and sweets in tricolour.
The wedding witnessed performances by Sonu Niigaam,,Richa Sharma, Bickram Ghosh, Greg Elis, Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, RDB, Kavita Murty, Omi Vaidya, Shailesh Lodha, Arun Jamini, Dia Mirza and Violin Brothers, among others. Needless to say, parents of the bride — Suman and Surendra Saboo and groom — Pushpa and Pawan Dhoot, had their wish for a big, fat Indian wedding fulfilled. The guests were enthralled by the glorious performance by the Dhoot and Saboo family members at Aamby valley in their family function.
