Recently Sonu Niigaam tweeted about his surprise discovery that his track had been dropped from the recently released music album of Mani Ratnam’s Raavan. He made things quite apparent by saying he now understood why he hadn’t been invited for the launch too.
Now A R Rahman who has composed and directed the music for Raavan is not one to say much about his work. But this time he has decided to come out and speak publicly following Niigaam’s public outcry.
“Unfortunately, because of the narration, we couldn’t fit many songs. We have three more songs that we recorded, but couldn’t use. We had a song with Asha Bhonsle too, which wasn’t used. The movie’s narration would’ve halted with so many songs. So, we took a creative decision,” said Rahman.
Over to you Sonu
