Sonu Niigaam To Raise Voice Against Child Labour !!

Singer Sonu Niigaam will be lending his voice to the cause of child labour in the country as he is set to perform at a fundraising concert to aid a campaign against the problem.

NGOs Divine and Lok Sathi have organized 'Pukaar', to be held in New Delhi on January 31, as part of their campaign to eradicate child labour and rehabilitate the children who are forced to work in their tender age.

The national award-winning singer is slated to perform live some of his best Bollywood numbers at the fundraiser.

Proceeds from the show will be spent on the rehabilitation and education of child labourers.

Sonu Niigaam Rocks Concert, Speaks Against Child Labour

Noted singer Sonu Niigaam treated Delhiites to a evening of rocking music on Sunday while raising his voice against child labour.

The 36-year-old singer belted out some of his popular Bollywood numbers like 'Shukran Allah' from the movie 'Kurbaan', 'Dil Dooba' from 'Khaki' and the title song from 'Kal Ho Na Ho'.

A joint venture of two NGOs Loksathi and Divine, the musical concert 'Pukaar' was an attempt to support the cause of children who are forced to toil at the age when they should be in classrooms.

"This is a very noble cause that NGO Divine and Loksathi has taken up and we need to continue this campaign till each and every child labour in this country is given back their normal childhood," said Sonu, extending his support to the campaign.
