Sonu Niigaam's Meeting With MJ Jr

Bollywood singer Sonu Niigaam is all set to don a new avatar. After entertaining music lovers the world over, he’s now become the face of radio channel, Big 92.7 FM. He says, “I joined hands with the radio channel to help de-stress people through my songs and shows.”

Sonu tells us about his meeting with late popstar Michael Jackson’s brother Jermaine during a recent show at Los Angeles.

“Jermaine came to my show with his Afghan wife, Halima. Strangely, he knew most of my songs, thanks to Halima.” Sonu’s written and composed a song based on MJ’s last heard words, ‘This is it’. “I’ll be singing this song with Jermaine and we’ll perform at the MJ Memorial concert in London in June next year to mark MJ’s first death anniversary.” Though Sonu hasn’t decided if the single will have a video, he says his connection with Jermaine will last long.

“Let’s see where it takes us,” he concludes.
