Sonu Nigam Sings For Mumbai Mirror!

Delhi heritage sites in Sachiin Joshi’s film

One of the songs in actor Sachiin Joshi's upcoming film, 'Mumbai Mirror', has been shot at a number of heritage sites in Delhi. Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar, Tughlaqabad Fort and Agrasen Ki Baoli form the backdrop for the romantic number 'Marjawa Main Tere Naal'.

Says Sachiin, "These monuments are an epitome of love and sync very well with the mood of the song. I know the Taj Mahal is the ideal monument of love, but I felt it has been exposed a lot in our films. So, we chose not to shoot there. It was creatively challenging to capture the architectural brilliance of these monuments." He adds, "The song is a dream sequence showing the bond between me and lead actress Vimala Raman. Written by lyricist Shabbir Ahmed, it has been composed by Amjad Nadeem and sung by Sonu Nigam."

About his role in the film, the actor reveals that he's playing a cop, Abhijeet, who falls for journalist Jia, played by Raman and, thus, begins their flight of fancy. "The plot revolves around the nexus between cops and dance bars in Mumbai," he concludes.
