Amitabh Bachchan wants a quite 70th birthday but Jaya is making elaborate plans for a special day. Amitabh Bachchan will turn 70 on October 11 this year and where on one hand, the entire Hindi film industry is looking forward to the celebrations, the Big B himself claims that it's just another day for him. It is being said that wife Jaya Bachchan has planned an elaborate birthday celebration for her husband, which would include painting and poster exhibitions.

He has received both the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan civilian awards from the Indian government.
