Because it seemed like the entire music industry had turned up to celebrate Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa's 15 years of togetherness.
The musical trio, who were touched with the short audio-visual their friends and colleagues put together for them, rocked the stage for almost two hours, playing some of their most memorable numbers. Sonu Nigam Shaan, Taufiq Qureshi, Sunidhi Chauhan, Mahalaxmi Iyer, Anusha Mani, Shrinivas, Kailash, Roopkumar Rathod and others joined them on stage to sing songs like Bhumbro Bhumbro, Main Hoon Don, Mitwa, Kal Ho Na Ho, Sajda, Maa, Tanhaai, Barso Barso, Rock on! and many others. Even the audience joined in the action as they cheered the trio, acting as the chorus during some of the renditions!
Aamir Khan, Subhash Ghai, Farhan Akhtar, Salim Merchant, Anushka Manchanda, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, Ila Arun, Amol Gupte, Nikhil Advani, Ritesh Sidhwani, Kunal Ganjawala, Neeraj Sridhar, Hard Kaur, Gaurav Kapoor, Nikhil Chinappa, Prahlad Kakar, Piyush Pandey, Sanjay Kapoor, Sudhir Mishra, Ashvin Gidwani, Clinton Cerejo, Abhijeet Sawant and Ramesh Sippy made their presence felt at the show and at the after-party.
