DOHA: LG Live Borderless Sonu Niigaam Concert at Khalifa Tennis Stadium on Friday was a an out and out success, said the organisers.
Hundreds of Hindi film music lovers thronged the stadium to enjoy show organised by Regency Travels and Tours.
Niigam, a very popular Bollywood singer, enthralled Doha audience with his magic voice and performance — he made most of the audience dance to his tunes.
The show started with few Bollywood numbers sung by Gunjan, a famous female Bollywood singer.
Niigaam followed her, and rocked the evening with his electrifying performance. He sang songs from numerous Hindi films, ranging from melody to foot-tapping numbers. His songs from movies like Main Hoon Na, Kal Ho Na Ho, 3 Idiots literally rocked the audience.
After the show Niigaam said he was very impressed by the response he got from Doha audience and the event will stay in his memory for the years to come.
The audience felt the show was worth the money they spent and the waiting they had to see Niigaam’s live performance in Doha. The entire crowd stayed in the stadium without leaving their seats till the event got over.
Speaking to media, the crowd expressed their feelings: “It was one of the best performance I have seen in my life. It was great, he really rocked Doha,” Suhas Desai said.
“I really enjoyed the entire show with my family, right from start to end, my whole family were singing and dancing with Sonu. I felt I become young after dancing with my kids for the entire concert,” said Saddique
After the event, Regency Travels and Tours General Manager N M Shafiq thanked all the sponsors and the people of Qatar for their whole-hearted support to make this event a grand success. He also informed that in the future Regency Travels and Tours will organise such events and concerts in Doha.
