Sonu Niigaam - A Tribute To Master Madan !!

MASTER MADAN, who died at 14, was one of India's
earliest recorded child stars. And he has his fans
even in these days of reality shows.
He was from Jalandhar, Punjab.



One such fan is singer Sonu Niigaam, who discovered Madan when he was 14, learnt two ghazals of his and sang them to win an all-India competition organised by Delhi's Sangam Kala Group in memory of Master Madan.

"Ten years later, I did my research on him and introduced his songs on TV through `Saregama', the talent show, which I then anchored," he recalls.
Have we unearthed any other Master Madans? "Extraordinary talent is found only now and then. Perhaps those found now will get their due later," Sonu Niigaam, remarks
