Many eminent personalities of the Kannada film industry were present, including former Union minister Ambarish, Sumalatha, Dwarakish, Sa. Ra. Govindu, N. Kumar, K. Kalyan, S. Narayan, Smt. Bhagyavathi S. Narayan.
Pankaj will play the lead role opposite Roopika. Producer-director S. Narayan is known for his films which offer clean entertainment. The VIPs who wished Narayan on this occasion included actor and producer Dwarakish, producer Sa. Ra. Govindu and distributor N. Kumar
Cheluvina Chilipili stars Pankaj, a young sensational actor who is also the son of S.Narayan. Roopika who was acting in many films as child artist is being introduced as a heroine in this film. Anant Nag, Dwarakish, Sumalatha, Rajendra Karanth, Kote Prabhakar and R.G.Vijayasarathy play special roles in this film.
S.Narayan says that the film’s story of the film revolves around teen aged youngsters, their aspirations and dreams, agony and frustrations, desires and set backs which has been narrated in an entertaining mode. ‘At the same time a message will also gets through in the process which is the highlight of the film’ says Narayan. A new story line and a fresh thought about youngsters will be the novelty aspect of the film, says Narayan.
Cheluvina Chilipili has been shot in Bangalore, Vishakapatnam, Mysore and other places.
